Born with the passion for the arts - I felt a great sense of pride when I
saw Michelangelo's statue of David ; I shed tears when I read Shakespeare's
Romeo and Juliet; I fell in the depths of despair when I listened to
Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. I had always thought I would be an actress
when I grew up but I happened to find something else in myself when I was in
my teens. I started dancing and found it one of my greatest joys in life. A
couple of years ago, I opened Balletopia, a dance studio, in Hong Kong. It
is more than a business. The studio is where I meet people, share with
people and understand people. I learned and matured through interacting with
people. I now realize that communicating, compromising and caring for others
are in some ways a form of arts which are also very important for me to live
a meaningful life!
